The decision to close the 6th form was taken by the governors some time ago, there was a public meeting held for anyone to attend to express their concerns and I understand about 12 people turned up. There has been much made of the decision since but ultimately the it has been made by those appointe...

Re: Parking at Lodge Drive

Not getting embroiled in this 'debate' just wanted to say we went to Don Luigis last night for dinner and he now has several prominent signs in the restaurant stating that his customers can no longer park on Lodge Drive car park......thought it was worth letting you all know.

Re: Network Warrington

That's no doubt because the bus drivers are queuing up to drive such a beautiful route - hardly think the run from the Greyhound pub to the flat tops compares to Fortuneswell to Chesil Beach...... Happy New Year

Re: New Idea for shop in CPS?

Good idea - what do you have to go out of the village for? Make up, general beauty products, and no one sells normal underwear or stockings in the village ..... Always remember Anne's undies and the make up shop as founders of the CPS shops.....long gone and much missed.

Cibo has been closed for three nights and all those pre booked have been contacted to try and move their bookings to Lymm - apparently is a "problem with the kitchen". Seems odd they would lose all those Xmas party bookings for a kitchen issue so I suspect there's more to it. However had a...

Re: Jackson Avenue accident?

The police were there last night at about 7:45 when we came out of Sainsburys car park, there is scaffolding on the doctors building so wonder if something happened in the cap park at the side.

Been twice this weekend (Hic) and again it was great - however the music (again) is terrible and lacks variety - and a performer under 65!

Notice today that Duck Egg is reopening shortly, couldn't catch the new name as I drove past but the place appears to be getting a bit of a spruce up.

Re: Question

The 'magic path' is the path than runs between Church Lane and Hampson Avenue just near to Style hairdressers and the kids still refer to it as that. The path that is now Parsonage Walk was always called the Black Huts when I was younger, probably due to the original buildings on that site being bla...
