Welcome to the forum. I'm no legal eagle but as far as I know it just means we pay ground rent (in my case £12) every year instead of owning the land. Obviously when the lease is up the landowner then can take control back of the land and effectivly owns your house. The lease on mine was for 999 yea...

Re: Parking at Lodge Drive

How nice of them for 'not wanting to intimidate you' and just sending the info for you to check.
They must be a bit cash strapped and need some money for the Champers at the office Christmas party.
Has their case got stronger since the last time they threatened you?

NO!!

Keep pinning the letters up.

Re: Parking at Lodge Drive

Thought this had quietly gone away but I have received my copy of the court paper letter today. To be honest I thought all the signs had been removed now in the light of the bad publicity a few weeks ago regarding rogue parking companies am I right ? I am currently being asked for over £200 and inf...

Re: Culcheth Beer Festival

I enjoyed the festival, good beer, food, music and company, however:- After putting my commemorative glass in the cupboard next to last years glass (and the glass from the year before that and the year before that), it was obvious that the glasses this year were pint to top, not oversized!!! "CAM...

Re: Parking at Lodge Drive

MrC, I hope you have read previous posts in this thread and are not going to do anything daft are you? (Like paying it or corresponding with them). A good friend of mine is about 1 month ahead of you, I've seen his £100 pound letter, they do look very official don't they? For a speculative punt for ...

Re: Parking at Lodge Drive

A "good friend" of mine got a "Ticket" last night.
An intelligent chap.
I will let you know how it progresses.
I will probably start a new thread when the letters start arriving.
They won't be instigated though, let them pay for the address.

Re: Parking at Lodge Drive

I have recently moved to the area and find all the issues about this subject kind of take the gloss off the attractions of the village for me. Having read the posts I am amazed that the villagers have not fought back. I am not suggesting anything illegal but has there not been at least a mass boyco...
